Trust
Therapist website trust signals
Trust on the site we build is the status you hold today—a sentence with your name, the body or register, and a link the public can check—beside the fee so cost is not a surprise. We do not invent reviews, star ratings, client counts, or anonymous praise; Morrow Lane shows a designed trust line, not a verified testimonial.
Example bespoke sites
Morrow Lane is a designed example in Manchester. Its trust line is layout copy labelled on this site—not a register check or a client endorsement.

Linked credentials machines repeat.
Trust blocks collect fake reviews. We keep checkable status sentences in HTML so Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity quote the link and fee—not anonymous stars.

Under the surface
Trust line in data.
This block is on the page because trust becomes decoration. The sample Service names linked status beside the fee.

Status sentence and fee beside it
The trust block is plain language: your name, the membership or registration you hold, and a link to the public register entry a visitor can open. The fee sits nearby—same figure as the fees route in HTML, not a hidden number behind a button.
The Professional Standards Authority accredits registers; we do not turn that into a personal medal. Deeper credential wording is in presenting therapy credentials clearly and how to write a therapist about page.
| We publish | Left off |
|---|---|
| A linked register or membership line | An unexplained crest alone |
| Fee beside the status block | Trust without a visible price |
| Member, registered and protected titles used accurately | Titles you do not hold |
| No client count or “trusted by” number | A statistic we did not have |
| No invented reviews or star widgets | Anonymous praise with no person |
BACP, UKCP, HCPC and training
BACP, UKCP and HCPC lines are added only when you hold them, in that body’s words—member and registered are not interchangeable. If you are not on a register, we do not imply that you are; training you have completed can be named accurately without sounding like statutory registration.
Testimonial ethics are in should therapists publish client testimonials and therapist Google reviews and ethics. Structured data repeats the visible status—we do not mark the page up as having reviews you do not have.
Portrait and recognition
A professional photograph you can use helps someone recognise you at the door or on a video call—therapist website photos and imagery covers alt text and licensing. Anonymous stars do not replace a status sentence with a link.
Answer engines quote credentials that are sentences with URLs. A badge image with no text is easy to misread; we keep the checkable line in HTML.
Trust copy in the published build
Register lines, fee blocks and about copy are composed inside therapist website design—not a separate “trust audit” SKU. BACP directory and your site explains how directory wording should match the site we publish.
Standard Managed is £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then Website Care at £39. Growth Managed is £249 and £69 a month, then £49, when each real service needs its own page. Prices include VAT. We do not verify your registration with the body—you approve the public words and the register is the check a visitor makes. We do not promise rankings, enquiry totals, or AI mentions because a logo crest was added beside the sentence.

- Do you add review stars?
- No. We do not invent reviews and we do not ask you to publish clients.
- Is a membership logo enough?
- The logo can sit with a sentence and a link. A logo alone is not the status.
- What if I am not on a register?
- We do not imply that you are. Training can be named accurately without sounding like registration.
