BACP directory

BACP directory and your website

The BACP Therapist Directory is a membership listing on BACP’s site—we do not apply for you or decide eligibility. We build your domain so it uses the same member, registered or accredited wording the register shows, links the public BACP Register entry when you are listed, and carries services, fee and reach in HTML the listing can point at. Morrow Lane is a designed example, not a BACP profile; we do not upgrade status for marketing or promise directory or search rankings.

A chance to see if this is the right counselling.

We talk about what you want from the work and how often we would meet. You do not need to send a history beforehand. Please give 48 hours if you need to cancel. What you say in the session stays there, except where the law requires otherwise.

Under the surface

BACP directory in data.

This block is on the page because BACP copy inflates titles. The sample Service names exact status linked on your site.

The website we deliver

One BACP status, three places

Member, registered member and accredited member are not interchangeable—match how to display BACP membership on a website and the BACP Register, not a grander word because the directory layout looks sparse.

The BACP Therapist Directory is for practitioners who meet BACP’s listing rules; eligibility stays on their pages, not our verdict. The ethical framework expects accurate public descriptions of qualifications, methods and costs.

What we align on your site versus directory tasks we do not take.

Directory check, owned explanation

The listing is a membership check visitors can use; your site is the longer explanation—who you see, how long, what it costs, how to enquire—that still works if their fields change tomorrow.

Wider credential presentation: presenting therapy credentials clearly. Counselling Directory–specific matching is Counselling Directory profile and website.

When register, directory and site disagree

Answer engines blend conflicting sources—structured data on your domain repeats the same status sentence as the visible about page, not a credential the page does not show.

Therapy Search UK is a separate free directory, not Therapist Website Studio; if you list there, repeat the same title and fee facts as on your site without implying BACP status you do not hold.

Build is the website, not the listing

BACP-aligned copy ships in counsellor website design at £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then £39; Prices include VAT.

Standard Managed is £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then Website Care at £39. Growth Managed is £249 and £69 a month, then £49, when each real service needs its own page. We do not pay BACP directory fees, interpret membership disputes, or sell the listing as part of Managed. Outright is £650 or £995. Website Care updates your HTML when status or fee changes—you still maintain the directory login yourself.

Questions

Does a website replace the BACP directory?
No. The site is yours. The directory is BACP’s membership listing.
Will you say I am accredited?
Only if that is your current BACP category. Member and registered stay as those words.
Is the directory included in the build?
No. The build is the website at the published price.
