Technical SEO
We ship the technical SEO layer with your therapist website—crawlable HTML, mobile-first facts, sitemaps, canonical URLs and structured data at published build prices.
Technical SEO here is what we configure when we build and host the site: public pages stay open to Googlebot and AI search crawlers, fees and enquiry links stay in phone HTML, HTTPS and redirects are tidy, and JSON-LD matches visible copy. Therapist Website Studio includes that work inside Standard Managed, Growth Managed or outright purchase—we do not sell a separate technical retainer or promise rankings.
Example bespoke sites
Meridian Room is a designed example with crawlable service routes and fees in text—not an audit scorecard or ranking proof.

These meetings are not an assessment, and you are not asked to send a history. A loss, a relationship, or work are ordinary places to begin.

Search bots on, training bots understood.
Unfetched pages never reach AI answers. We configure the studio stack so Google, ChatGPT search, Claude and Perplexity can retrieve the same fee and enquiry a visitor reads on a phone.

Crawl access on public pages
Search and answer engines start by fetching HTML. We allow Googlebot and the AI search crawlers we document on OpenAI’s crawler overview on the marketing pages you want indexed, keep client-only areas closed, and set robots.txt on the studio hosting stack—not as a DIY homework sheet for you.
Private intake or draft areas stay off the public sitemap; services, fees and contact routes stay linked from the menu and footer with ordinary anchor URLs.
Mobile-first HTML for fees and enquiry
Google indexes the mobile version of each page. We place session fees, place lines and the enquiry link in the narrow layout HTML—not only on a wide screen or inside a price image.
Core Web Vitals matter for experience; we build on the studio stack with Google’s Core Web Vitals guidance in mind. Speed supports fetchability; it is not a ranking guarantee.
| Layer | What we deliver |
|---|---|
| Crawl | Search bots allowed on public URLs; private routes blocked |
| Index | XML sitemap, canonical tags, HTTPS, 301s when URLs move |
| Links | Crawlable anchors to services, fees and contact |
| Data | JSON-LD aligned with on-page fees and credentials |
Sitemap and Search Console at cutover
New practice sites often have few external links, so we publish a sitemap of real URLs and connect Search Console on the domain you own so you can see fetch coverage after launch.
Clean fetches depend on one canonical address per page—Google’s notes on crawling myths still apply: we fix duplicate or broken routes rather than chasing tricks.
Inside the website price
Robots rules, sitemap, mobile layout, redirects and structured data ship with Standard Managed (£149, £49/month) or Growth Managed when services split across URLs. Outright £650 or £995 include the same technical layer. Prices include VAT.
On-page search structure and answer-ready copy live on SEO for therapists and answer engine optimisation when you need the wider brief; this route is the crawl-and-index foundation.

- Can I buy a technical SEO audit without a new website?
- The technical layer we describe is built with sites this studio delivers. For a quick look at an existing public site, use the free website review form—we do not invoice a standalone technical retainer.
- Do you guarantee rankings after fixing technical issues?
- No. We make pages fetchable and facts visible; Google documents how Search works and does not promise positions.
- Will you teach me to edit robots.txt?
- We configure the studio stack for your launch. Ongoing technical habits are part of Website Care on sites we built—not a course in server administration.
