A migration is a rebuild with a memory

We decide which pages still describe a real service, retire the rest with your approval, and compose the new site with the same discipline as a fresh build: separate URLs where needed, fees in text, and JSON-LD beside the visible copy.

Wix, Squarespace, WordPress and Webflow can all host a serious therapy site. We move you when the page map, the copy, the structured data or the ongoing care needs what this studio delivers, not because those products are incapable.

The map, the redirects, and the first weeks

When a URL changes we use a permanent redirect from the old address to the new one. Google’s site-move guide expects a deliberate map; rankings can fluctuate while the new URLs settle. We follow that guidance and watch Search Console through the first weeks.

We keep a redirect when the old URL was a real page: a service, a location line, or an article you still stand behind. Retired posts get a deliberate destination or stay retired. Email and DNS are planned so the domain keeps resolving while the site changes.

Search and AI answers after the move

Answer engines often quote an old URL long after you have rebuilt. The new pages carry the same facts in HTML and structured data so Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity are not left citing a retired fee from an address that no longer exists.

After launch we submit the sitemap in Search Console. Structured data on each service page repeats the fee and the service name a person already reads on screen.

How the move is priced

A migration is a bespoke build with redirect work included in the same packages as a new site. Standard Managed is £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then Website Care at £39. Growth Managed is £249 and £69 a month, then £49, when each real service needs its own page. Prices include VAT. Outright is £650 or £995. The figures are on the pricing page; the monthly fee on Managed is management, not paying the site off.

Questions

Will my Google positions stay the same?
No one can promise that. Google says rankings can fluctuate on a site move. We do the URL map and permanent redirects so the change is deliberate, then publish crawlable pages with matching structured data.
Do I have to change domain?
Usually no. The domain stays in your name. A new domain is a separate decision with its own map and its own recovery time.
Can you move a Wix or Squarespace site?
Yes. Those products are capable hosts. We rebuild on the studio stack, map the old URLs, and use each platform’s redirect tools where the old site still lives during the change.
