Leaving the page
Why visitors leave my therapy website
People often leave when they cannot see who you are, what it costs, or how to reply—we fix those observable gaps on the site we build, not invented bounce rates or visitor totals. Linden Walk is a designed example with fee and enquiry in HTML; we do not diagnose your analytics or compare you to a typical practice.
Example bespoke sites
Linden Walk is a designed example in Edinburgh. It has no visitor counts, heatmaps, or conversion graphs—only public layout copy.

50 minutes · the pattern underneath

Which are you asking about?
The form asks for counselling or psychotherapy, so the reply matches the work. It does not ask you to explain a history.

Leaving pages invent analytics. We publish fee, title and reply in HTML so Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity quote practical facts—not invented percentages.

Clarity checks in data.
This block is on the page because exit pages sell metrics. The sample Service names visible fee, title and reply.

What we can see on a public page
A fee trapped in an image, a title you do not hold, a form that asks for a history, or a menu that only works with a mouse are reasons someone may leave—and reasons we can name on a review without claiming access to your analytics.
Quiet enquiry months are discussed in why your therapy website isn’t getting enquiries. The path we compose is in how to improve therapy website enquiries.
| We fix when visible | Left off |
|---|---|
| Fee in text on the service or fees route | Price only inside a picture |
| Status and title you actually hold | A broader credential label |
| A reachable enquiry control on mobile | A form buried below stock imagery |
| Named places only where you work | A map pin for towns you do not serve |
| No quoted bounce rate | A percentage we never measured |
Observable checks, not trust slogans
Contrast failures, missing register lines, and unclear service titles are checks we can point at. A story about “trust” without a missing status sentence is not.
Once verified, Google Search Console shows how pages are indexed and which queries surface—it does not explain why one person closed a tab. Google’s helpful content guidance is why practical answers belong in HTML, not keyword slogans alone.
Small edit, rebuild, or neither
On a site we built, a visible fee or contact fix is a management edit in Website Care. A structure that cannot state offer and enquiry is redesign vs repair at published website prices—not a conversion-rate consultancy.
The free website review is a short look at your public URL when you have one. We do not publish your visitor count or promise that clearer copy guarantees an enquiry.
Clarity work in Managed and redesign
First-screen offer, fee and enquiry controls are composed in therapist website design at £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then £39; outright £650 or £995; Prices include VAT.
Standard Managed is £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then Website Care at £39. Growth Managed is £249 and £69 a month, then £49, when each real service needs its own page. We do not sell bounce-rate audits, heatmap packages, or “stop visitors leaving” retainers. Growth Managed at published rates is for a second real service URL—not a promise that fewer people will close the tab.

- Do you know my bounce rate?
- No. We do not invent one. The free review looks at the public page.
- Is leaving always a copy problem?
- Sometimes the fee is missing or the page fails on a phone. We name what we can see.
- Will a new site stop people leaving?
- It can make offer and enquiry clear. It cannot promise an enquiry.
