Town pages
Therapist website town pages
A town URL is worth publishing when you see clients in that place—room, days, services and fee in copy that would read wrong if you swapped the town name. Alder Quay shows Bristol as a designed example; we do not clone suburbs, chase “near me” with doorway pages, or promise local rankings because another town got a page.
Example bespoke sites
Alder Quay is a designed example in Bristol. It is not a template to paste across every nearby town.

Under the surface
Town pages in data.
This block is on the page because town rings get quoted as deliverables. The sample Service names one real room URL with no ranking claim.

When a town page helps local discovery
Someone searching your city wants to know you actually sit there—the room, how sessions run, what it costs, how to enquire. That specificity is the local opportunity: one honest page beats a ring of thin copies.
The rule for rooms is in location pages for private practice and therapist website location page examples. Online-only reach uses its own route—Google Business Profile for online therapists—not a fake town page.
| We publish | Left off |
|---|---|
| One URL per town where you have a room | Neighbouring towns copied for reach |
| Copy that cannot be find-replaced | Same paragraph, new place name |
| Fee and services on that URL | A town name with no offer |
| Profile service area matches pages | GBP towns the site does not name |
| Retired room redirected or removed | Ghost locations left live |
When we decline an extra town
Willingness to travel is not a room. A keyword list is not a geography. A county “cover” page without a practice there is doorway content—Google’s doorway guidance is why we keep the set narrow.
Multiple real rooms are one location vs multiple therapy locations. Practice name, address and phone consistency keeps the footer, profile and town pages aligned.
Markup for the town you name
Structured data names only the place that page shows—local business structured data when the street is public, not a PostalAddress invented for online-only work.
Helpful content here means the specific room; we do not promise position in a map pack because the town page went live.

See what is includedQuestions
- I will travel to clients. Is that a town page?
- No. Say online or the towns where you actually sit—not every place you could drive to.
- How many town pages should I have?
- As many real rooms as you maintain—not a target count from a keyword tool.
- What about the example cities on this site?
- They belong to designed examples. They are not a menu of towns we operate in.
