One place or several
One therapy location or several on your website?
Location SEO starts with geography you can defend: a room clients attend, not a list of towns you hope to rank in. This guide follows Google Search Central and Business Profile guidance on real places, doorway pages, and separate URLs—then how Therapist Website Studio builds one page per room, online work on its own route, and LocalBusiness or ProfessionalService markup that matches each address.
Example bespoke sites
Alder Quay is a designed example in Bristol. It names one concept city, not a chain of locations or a doorway page template.

Couples therapy · Bristol or online
For the pattern between you
Two adults. You can come together, or one of you can write first. 60 minutes · £90.

- 1
Who is in the room
Couples therapy is for two of you. Relationship therapy is for one person, when the other is not coming.
- 2
The fee is on the page
£90 for 60 minutes, in Bristol or online, before you decide to write.
- 3
A short note
Names, an email, and in person or online. You do not need to tell the story in the form.

Relationship therapy · one person
When you want to look at it alone
£90
60 minutes. For one person who wants to understand a relationship, when the other person is not in the room. Same fee as couples therapy.
Bristol or online. Cancellation sits on the same page as the fee.
Names, an email, and where you would like to meet. Leave the story of the relationship out of the form.

No doorway town pages.
Answer engines confuse cities when one page claims everywhere. We publish one location URL per room and honest online copy so Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity quote the place that matches the service.

Under the surface
LocalBusiness per address.
This block is on the page because multi-town SEO invents rooms. The sample ProfessionalService carries the address shown in HTML on that URL only.

Real rooms before extra town pages
A solo practitioner with one consulting room needs one location story: the address or area you show in public, the days you work there, and how to enquire. A second URL appears when you genuinely see clients in a second place—not when you want search visibility in another city without a room.
Google’s spam policies describe doorway pages: thin or duplicate routes created mainly to rank for places. Helpful content guidance favours pages that answer a specific need. A location page should describe that room’s offer, fee and access, not repeat the homepage with a swapped town name.
Business Profile and multiple places
Google’s Business Profile eligibility and representation guidelines expect accurate names, addresses and categories. A profile generally belongs to a place customers can visit; two real rooms may mean two careful profile decisions, not duplicate pins for the same session offered everywhere.
Online-only work stays on its own site route—see Google Business Profile for online therapists. A service area painted across a county without rooms is poor substitute for honest online copy.
| Pattern | Site architecture |
|---|---|
| One room | Home plus about; room named on contact or a short location section |
| Two rooms you use weekly | One site, two location URLs, each with its own address line |
| Online plus one room | Separate online service page; room page keeps the in-person fee |
| Several practitioners in a centre | Centre hub plus practitioner or service routes; quoted separately from solo Managed pricing |
Structured data per real place
Each location URL that shows an address gets local business structured data or ProfessionalService markup that matches the visible address and phone—not a canonical tag that merges two cities into one entity.
Services offered in only one room link from the homepage to that room’s page. The structured data guide explains Service, Offer and BreadcrumbList on top of location entities. Therapy Search UK is a separate free directory; listings should name the same towns and fees as the site.
How the studio structures location pages
Standard Managed fits a single-room practice with one or a few service pages. Growth Managed is the usual tier when each service and each real room needs its own route. See location pages for private practice, local SEO for therapists, and therapy centre website design for related offers.
A practitioner who hires a room on Thursdays can state that day and place in plain text without inventing a second brand. Rankings are not assigned per city; the architecture keeps facts straight for search and AI answers.
Published prices for the practice website
Standard Managed is £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then Website Care at £39. Growth Managed is £249 and £69 a month, then £49, when each real service needs its own page. Prices include VAT. Outright is £650 or £995. The domain stays in your name. The monthly fee on Managed is management, not paying the site off.
A multi-practitioner centre is quoted on the centre page after scope is known; solo Managed and Growth figures on pricing cover individual practices with one or more real rooms on one domain.

- I use two rooms. Do I need two websites?
- One domain is enough when both rooms are real. Each room gets its own location URL and matching markup if the address is public.
- Can I list every town I might travel to?
- Name the rooms or areas you actually use for client sessions. A spreadsheet of hoped-for towns is not a location SEO strategy.
- We are three associates in one centre. Which price applies?
- A centre brief is quoted separately. Solo Managed and Growth prices on the pricing page are for individual practitioner sites.
