Therapy website navigation examples
We build navigation from the pages you actually have—work, about, fees, contact, plus one link per real service—so the phone list matches the desk list and every item is a URL, not a picture of a menu. Meridian Room shows the pattern on a designed example; we do not add Blog, Shop or Resources tabs without those pages.
Example bespoke sites
Meridian Room is a designed example in Leeds. Its menu is layout copy labelled on this site—not a live clinic navigation or proof of hire.

Time enough to say what the trouble actually is
Individual psychotherapy, usually weekly. £85 for 50 minutes. Thursdays in Leeds, and online on the other days.

To see whether this work fits
These meetings are not an assessment, and you are not asked to send a history. A loss, a relationship, or work are ordinary places to begin.
Thursdays in the Leeds room. Other days online across the UK. Your name, your email, and which you prefer.

Crawlable links machines follow.
Navigation examples hide pages in images. We keep real internal links in HTML so Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity quote the same routes—not invented sections.

Under the surface
Navigation in data.
This block is on the page because menus become pictures. The sample Service names the same real pages on phone and desk.

Real pages in the menu
A solo site usually needs services, about, fees and contact. Each label is a link to HTML a crawler can follow—internal anchors use the words of the service, not “read more.” A centre adds one entry per practitioner when each person has their own route.
Solo versus multi-page scope is in one page vs multi-page therapist website. Service URLs and specialisms are mapped in structuring therapy services and specialisms.
| We publish | Left off |
|---|---|
| Links to real URLs | A tab for a service you do not offer |
| The same list on phone and desk | A desktop-only menu |
| Anchors in plain words | A menu drawn as an image |
| Fees reachable when a fees page exists | Fees hidden only in the footer |
| One practitioner link each on a centre site | One team photo as the only nav |
Online, solo and team shapes
An online practice does not get a Locations item with no location—the menu states that work is remote. A practice with one room links to that place only.
A group site lists people on therapy practice team page and quotes on therapy centre website design—we do not inflate a solo menu to look like a clinic.
Phone menu and focus
On small screens the same links sit in a control with a visible name and keyboard focus—WCAG 2.2 is why we do not ship a hamburger with no label. Dropdowns still resolve to links someone can open without a mouse.
Crawlers follow the links people follow; structured data does not invent a section the menu does not show. Google’s SEO starter guide is the reference for crawlable internal links—not a promise that menu wording will change rank.

Standard Managed is £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then Website Care at £39. Growth Managed is £249 and £69 a month, then £49, when each real service needs its own page. - How many menu items is too many?
- As many as there are real pages. A short practice stays short.
- Is the phone menu different from the desk menu?
- The links are the same. The control is sized for a thumb.
- Do you hide fees in the footer only?
- No. When there is a fees page, navigation can reach it.
