How to become a counsellor in the UK
Who publishes the training route, and when does a website matter?
BACP, NCPS, UKCP and UCAS publish the training routes. This studio does not train counsellors and does not set a qualification. A website matters later, when you are ready to describe a private practice to the public. Until then, use the professional bodies.

Check the body that matches the title you want
Counsellor training is not one national degree. BACP describes a staged route with placement. UKCP describes psychotherapy training. NCPS describes its own path. Read those pages for duration, placement and membership. Do not treat a blog summary as the entry requirement.
Private practice is a later decision
When a body and a supervisor say you may see clients independently, the public still needs fees, format and a contact route. That is the point at which a practice website is worth commissioning. We will not offer a site to someone who is only browsing training.
