How much a therapist website costs
Which costs are the website, and which are the practice around it?
A domain, email and a website builder are subscriptions you keep paying. Here, a managed therapist website is £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then Website Care at £39 a month. Buying outright is £650, or £995 for the wider search structure. Your domain stays in your name. A group practice is quoted separately.
Costs that are easy to mix together
A low monthly builder fee can be the right choice for a new practice that is still deciding its offer. It becomes expensive when the structure cannot describe the work and you pay for a redesign later, plus the redirects.
| Item | What it usually is |
|---|---|
| Domain | An annual registration in your name. Not the website itself. |
| A mailbox on that domain, often a separate subscription. | |
| Builder | A monthly or annual platform fee. The design stays on that platform. |
| Photographs | Your own, or a licence. A shoot is a separate agreement. |
| Your time | Writing, checking claims, and answering the first enquiries. |
| Custom rebuild | A designed site, the page plan, and a stated ownership route. |
What this studio’s figure includes
A solo practice is usually Managed: £149 setup and £49 a month, or £249 and £69 a month for the wider search structure. Buying outright is £650 or £995. Prices include VAT. A therapy centre is not priced as a solo practice with extra names.
The figure is not a market average, and it is not a forecast of enquiries. It is the scope published on the pricing page.
