Directory count
How many therapy directories?
There is no correct number—each listing is another place your fee, status and reach must stay true. We build one website listings can point at; we do not recommend three, five, or one as SEO, submit profiles for you, or invent directory join fees. Meridian Room is a designed example site, not a stack of listings or a client forecast.
Example bespoke sites
Meridian Room is a designed example in Leeds. It is one domain—not proof that more directories produced more enquiries.

Time enough to say what the trouble actually is
Individual psychotherapy, usually weekly. £85 for 50 minutes. Thursdays in Leeds, and online on the other days.

To see whether this work fits
These meetings are not an assessment, and you are not asked to send a history. A loss, a relationship, or work are ordinary places to begin.
Thursdays in the Leeds room. Other days online across the UK. Your name, your email, and which you prefer.

Under the surface
Directory count in data.
This block is on the page because listing quotas get sold. The sample Service names one website listings may match, not a target count.

}The website we deliver
The website is the source you update first
One spelling of your name, one fee in HTML, one statement of room or online reach—directories you actually use should repeat those facts, not contradict them.
Choosing operators is how to choose a therapist directory; keeping listings aligned is therapy directory citations for local SEO—matching what you hold, not buying new lists.
| We publish | Left off |
|---|---|
| As many listings as you will maintain | A magic number from a blog |
| Site updated before stale listings | Profiles fresh, domain neglected |
| Exact membership wording you hold | Borrowed status for reach |
| Their join fee on their page | Directory prices we invented |
| No more-clients promise | More listings equals more enquiries |
Maintenance you are signing up for
Every profile needs the new fee when you change it—if that edit will not happen, do not add the listing. We update your HTML on Managed or Website Care; directory logins stay yours.
Search Console shows your domain’s queries, not a directory’s internal search—we do not pretend either dashboard is a lead guarantee.
Therapy Search UK and free listings
Therapy Search UK is a separate free directory, not Therapist Website Studio—if you use it, repeat the same title, fee and status as on your site without treating it as part of a website build.
Paid versus free context is paid vs free therapist directories—still no league table or invented pounds column.

- Is one directory enough?
- It can be, if the website exists and you keep it accurate. We do not measure “enough”.
- Will you update my profiles when my fee changes?
- We update the website on Managed or Care. You edit directory forms yourself.
- Does a second listing help SEO?
- We do not promise that. Conflicting facts hurt clarity more than extra URLs help.
