Websites for online therapy practices
What must an online-only or hybrid practice make explicit?
Say who the online work is for, which places you can work with, how sessions are held, and how someone starts. If you also see people in a room, give that room its own facts. An online-only practice should not be promised a Google Business Profile.
Scope is a practical fact
“Online across the UK” is only clear if you mean it. If you restrict sessions by nation, time zone, language or the kind of work you will not do remotely, say so on the online page and keep the contact form consistent with it.
Hybrid practices need both stories. A Manchester room and UK-wide online work answer different questions. One sentence in a footer is easy to miss on a phone.
Maps and the website are separate
Google’s eligibility rules currently exclude online-only businesses from Business Profile. A residential consulting room is also not the same as a service-area business that travels to clients. Check the live rules against the actual practice before anyone creates or edits a profile. Do that only with the practitioner’s access and permission.
