A private-practice launch checklist for therapists
Which tasks belong to your professional body, and which belong on the website?
Status, insurance and supervision are for your membership body. The website’s job starts when you are ready for a stranger to read who you see, the fee, and how to write. This list is not a certificate and it is not BACP’s member checklist.

Publish only what you can stand behind
When the middle rows are written, send them with your name and email. We will say whether the Practice Website at £650 or Practice Growth at £995 fits. Prices include VAT. We will not put a credential on the site unless you can point to the register entry.
| Check | Where it is settled |
|---|---|
| Title and membership status | Your professional body, not a web template |
| Who you see and the format | Your own page, matching the directory if you have one |
| Fee and cancellation | Visible before the enquiry, not only after someone writes |
| Room or online scope | A real place, or an honest remote statement. Not a fake office. |
| First contact | Name, email, and a request not to send clinical detail |
| Search Console on the domain you own. A Business Profile only if you are eligible. |
