From Webflow
Moving a therapy website from Webflow
Webflow is a capable visual host with CMS collections, asset libraries and built-in SEO settings. When you rebuild on the studio stack, the move centres on inventorying those CMS items, mapping URLs, coordinating redirects in Webflow’s docs, and pointing your domain at the new HTML. This guide follows Google’s site-move guidance and links to the studio migration service.
Example bespoke sites
Linden Walk is a designed example in Edinburgh. It is not a Webflow project file or a CMS export from a client site.

Counselling and psychotherapy, named apart.
Choose the work that fits. Each has its own page, its own fee, and the same short way to write.

Counselling
A weekly place to start
£70
50 minutes · Edinburgh room or online
A weekly session for something you want to work on now. For adults, in Edinburgh or online.
Psychotherapy
Longer work, with its own page
£85
50 minutes · the pattern underneath
For a pattern that keeps returning, when a single conversation is not enough. Its own page, and its own fee.

Which are you asking about?
The form asks for counselling or psychotherapy, so the reply matches the work. It does not ask you to explain a history.

Collection fields become HTML.
Answer engines can keep quoting old Webflow slugs until redirects land. We publish fees in HTML and JSON-LD on the new host so Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity align with the studio routes.

Service JSON-LD post-move.
This block is on the page because Webflow moves skip Collection mapping. The sample Service names the post-move route with an Offer in JSON-LD.

What Webflow already provides
Webflow’s SEO section in the Help Centre covers metadata, sitemaps and indexing settings on their hosting. CMS Collections can power service pages, team profiles or blog posts; the Asset Manager holds images you may reuse if you have rights to them.
A studio move is about a cleaner page map, copy drafted for retrieval, structured data on every service route, and Website Care on the site we host—not because Webflow cannot publish a serious therapy practice.
CMS and assets to inventory
Walk each Collection item that represents a real offer or person. Drop Webflow sample clients, lorem text and duplicate service stubs. Note which pages directories already link to, and capture the fee and status each template currently shows—even when that fee lives inside a design frame rather than a plain paragraph.
Export or copy text you still stand behind; we rewrite the public sentences in HTML on the new site. Forms that collected clinical detail on the old project are replaced with the short marketing enquiry form, or a link to the diary you already use.
| On the Webflow side | On the new site |
|---|---|
| Collection items you want to keep | Matching service or about URLs in HTML |
| Images you own or licensed | Compressed assets with alt text |
| Old slug per published page | Row in the URL map |
| Redirects per Webflow’s redirect article | 301 to the new address when the slug changes |
Domain, DNS and redirects
Domain registration stays in your name. While DNS moves to the new host, Webflow’s redirect documentation describes how to point old paths at new destinations on their side when the project still lives in your account—alongside the map we publish on the studio site.
Google’s site-move guide expects permanent redirects when URLs change and notes that rankings can fluctuate during recrawl. Keep the Webflow project reachable until redirect checks pass; you close their hosting plan when you are satisfied, not on the hour the domain switches.
Search Console and structured data
After launch, verify the property in Search Console, submit the sitemap, and request indexing on key service URLs. Structured data on the new pages repeats each fee and service name in JSON-LD so search and AI answers align with the visible copy rather than an old Webflow CMS field.
Therapy Search UK is a separate free directory; update listing URLs if your public paths change during the move.
Studio migration from Webflow
Website migration for therapists covers the rebuild, redirect map, and Managed or Outright pricing with the domain in your name. For context on staying on Webflow, see Webflow for therapists in the UK and Webflow therapist websites.

Published prices for the practice website
Standard Managed is £149 setup and £49 a month for 12 months, then Website Care at £39. Growth Managed is £249 and £69 a month, then £49, when each real service needs its own page. Prices include VAT. Outright is £650 or £995. The domain stays in your name. The monthly fee on Managed is management, not paying the site off.
A Webflow move is priced as a bespoke build with redirect work—the same packages on pricing. Webflow hosting remains on their subscription until you cancel it.

- Do you need my Webflow login?
- We need the public URLs, CMS content you want kept, and cooperation while redirects are set. Access is arranged for the project during the move, not kept as a standing credential.
- Can old Webflow URLs keep working?
- Yes, when each old path has a permanent redirect to the new address. Webflow’s redirect article describes the controls on their hosting.
- Does the domain stay with me?
- Yes. The registrar stays in your name; DNS is updated to point at the studio-hosted site when you approve the switch.
