Google Business Profile for therapists
Is a Maps listing even available for the way you practise?
A profile is for a real place where you see people, or a service-area business that meets Google’s rules. Online-only practices are not eligible. The website should describe the same room, services and name as the profile, and should not invent extra towns.
Eligibility before decoration
If you see clients at a rented room on set days, that room can be the basis of a profile when it meets Google’s current rules. A home consulting room is a privacy decision as well as an eligibility one: you do not have to print the street address on the website. Online-only work does not qualify for a profile, and we will not set one up to suggest that it does.
Categories and services on the profile should name the work you do. A second profile for the same room is not a growth tactic.
Make the website agree with the profile
A rebuild can review a profile you already have access to. Creating eligibility that the practice does not have is outside the work.
- The practice name matches
- The website link goes to the page that explains that location
- Services on the profile are services you actually offer
- Hours are hours you can keep
- You do not add towns you never visit
