A clear first-contact journey

What should a person be able to do on a phone before they write to you?

On a phone they should be able to open the relevant service, see the fee and session length, check where or how sessions happen, and send a short message or email. Tell them when you reply. Do not ask for symptoms or a history in the first form.

A path, not a single button

The button matters, and so does everything before it. A typical path is service, then fees, then contact. Each step should be reachable from the menu and from the page the visitor is already on. If the fee lives in a PDF or a paragraph under a photograph, many people will not reach the form at all.

  • Name, email and a short note are usually enough
  • State a reply expectation you can keep, such as two working days
  • Offer email as well as a form if the form is the only route today
  • Keep the same facts on the mobile layout; do not hide fees behind “more”

Collect less clinical detail

Health information can be special category data. A marketing website does not need it to arrange a first conversation. Ask people not to include clinical detail, and design the form so the obvious next act is a short introduction rather than a case history. That is a design choice. It is not a certificate that the practice is compliant in every other system it uses.
